Galaxy’s Head of Bitcoin (BTC) Mining Amanda Fabiano Left the Firm to Start a Consulting Company
Galaxy Digital’s head of mining, Amanda Fabiano, has made the decision to leave the firm and start her own consulting services company called Fabiano Consulting. Her goal is to assist bitcoin miners in growing their businesses, according to a statement to CoinDesk.
Fabiano expressed her enthusiasm for working with companies in their growth stages and her passion for building. Utilizing her knowledge and background, she aims to assist others in their own growth endeavors. She stated, “I’m eager to utilize the knowledge and background I’ve gained and assist others in their growth endeavors.”
As Fabiano ventures into her new consulting role, she has already secured some clients, including Compass Mining and Giga Energy.
During her time at Galaxy, Fabiano spent three years developing the firm’s mining business, offering operational and capital markets products. Prior to that, she served as the director of bitcoin mining at Fidelity Investments.
One of the notable accomplishments under Fabiano’s leadership was the acquisition of the Helios mining facility from Argo Blockchain. This move, which was valued at nearly $100 million, saved Argo from bankruptcy and provided Galaxy with a mining capacity of 180 megawatts.
Fabiano recognizes the importance of positioning oneself for success in the current market conditions and the post-halving future. The continuous rise in hash rate prompts companies to consider strategies to ensure their success.
