Free $300 gift card…
Verizon has some pretty sweet Black Friday deals at the moment. The one that stands out to me the most is this — when you buy an iPhone 16 via trade-in and with select unlimited plans, you’ll get a free 10.9-inch iPad (A14 Bionic) and Apple Watch 10. Now, there is a catch here and that’s the fact that you’ll need to activate a service plan for your newfound iPad and Apple Watch. However, if you were already planning on getting one (or both), this is an easy way to get them free. On top of that, if you switch from a competing carrier you’ll get a free $300 gift card.

Should you buy refurbished Apple devices?
Hey, all! Deals editor Louis here. I’m a huge Apple user and while I don’t normally recommend folks buy refurbished items, when it comes to Apple — I actually encourage it. The reason for that is the Apple Store certifies its own devices and they all come with a 1-year Apple warranty, which is the same warranty that comes with new devices. Now, there is a small caveat. Sometimes you can find (new) previous-gen Mac devices cheaper via retailers like Best Buy or Amazon. So before you buy anything refurbished from Apple, I recommend you check out Amazon’s Apple storefront and Best Buy’s Apple storefront.
Refurbished Apple devices: deals from $69 at the Apple Store
If you’re looking for a brand new iPhone 16, you don’t necessarily have to pay over the odds for one. In fact Amazon is willing to sell you an iPhone 16 for just one cent. The only catch is that you have to sign up to a $65 a month Boost Infinite plan to be eligible. But you don’t have to trade in your old phone, and you get unlimited data to go with it.
As for the iPhone 16 you get to enjoy some pretty major upgrades. Better battery, a more powerful A18 chipset, improved camera hardware and all the things that make the new iPhone the new iPhone. Not to mention the fact the phone supports Apple Intelligence and will be getting Visual Intelligence support with iOS 18.2 next month.
If the MacBook Pro is a little too much for you, then you may want to consider the MacBook Air instead. The good news is that the 13-inch MacBook Air 2024 with M3 is now on sale at Amazon for $799 — $200 off the usual retail price. Or if you’d prefer the bigger screen, the 15-inch model can be purchased for $200 more — $300 off what you’d normally pay.
The 2024 MacBook Air is our favorite MacBook on sale right now, packing in an elegant design in a thin and lightweight form factor. But that skinny frame doesn’t hold out on the power, thanks to the rock-solid performance of the M3 chip. It may not be the flashy new M4, but you still get a lot of performance and energy efficiency to keep that battery running for longer. Better still you can get all this with a larger 15-inch screen, if you’re willing to pay a little more.
13-inch MacBook Air 2024 with M3: was $999 now $799 @ BestBuy
15-inch MacBook Air 2024 with M3: was $1,299 now $999 @ Amazon

Black Friday deals aren’t only available in the U.S., and there are plenty of opportunities from folks on the other side of the Atlantic to save on Apple products of all kinds.
Whether you’re looking for an iPhone, a shiny new iPad, or even set of AirPods to make those train commutes a little more bearable, there are plenty of deals for you to enjoy. Here’s a selection of the best Black Friday Apple deals we’ve found in the UK.

There’s a lot you can do on the iPad with a stylus. Whether you’re an artist, prefer making notes by hand, or simply want a more precise way to control what’s happening on screen, the Apple Pencil is for you. And the top-of-the-range Apple Pencil Pro is down to $93 at Amazon — which is $37 off the usual price.
Compatible with iPad Pro, iPad Air M2 and iPad mini 7, the Apple Pencil Pro offers a huge range of useful features. It has all the classic things like pressure sensitivity, low-latency and tilt support, but you’ll find those on older Apple Pencil models as well. What’s new here is the “barrel roll” feature that detects rotation to offer new options, haptic feedback and support for Apple’s Find My — should you ever lose it.

I was walking in a park yesterday, and when I bent down to pet one of the local cats that live in the nearby apartment complex, I noticed that in addition to its nametag with a phone number the owner had attached an AirTag to track the cat.
I figured this was a genius idea, and immediately started thinking about getting one for my own cat. As it turns out, now is a great time to invest in AirTags, because they’re discounted to the lowest price we’ve ever seen on Amazon.
This deal on a 4-pack knocks the price down to about $17.50 per AirTag, which is a steal for peace of mind when tracking your valuables, pets and loved ones. Personally, I’m gonna snag a pair to put on my cat, in my car and in my luggage.
AirTag (4-pack): was $99 now $69 @ Amazon
So in addition to a Mac mini (M4), I’m also planning on buying a new monitor or two for my new Mac. As much as I’d love a pair of Apple Studio Displays (on sale for $100 off at Amazon mind you), that just ain’t happening. So instead I’m eyeing Samsung’s M8 monitor, which so many Apple fans seem to love. It has a great design, doubles as a smart TV with HDR10+ support, and it has Samsung’s Tizen OS built-in for all my streaming needs. I’m pretty confident this’ll be the monitor I pick up. If you have any other Mac-friendly monitor recs, hit me up!

Here’s what I’m buying…
Hey, all! I’m Louis the deals editor-in-chief at Tom’s Guide. This Black Friday I’m finally going to update my Intel-based 27-inch 5K iMac (2015). I think I’m gonna replace it with the new Mac mini M4. (I’m still deciding between the mini or the iMac M4). The base Mac mini M4 is on sale for $549 at Amazon. It’s an epic deal given what an awesome Mac this is. However, I’m going to wait for the official Apple Black Friday sale. Why? Because I want to fully customize my Mac and retailers like Amazon and Best Buy typically discount only one or two configurations. I’m expecting the Apple Store to offer it’s usual “free gift card with purchase” sale this year, so I’m hoping to score a gift card with my configured Mac.
So my shopping advice is this: If you’re gonna buy a base Mac — buy now via retailers as there are excellent deals live. If you’re gonna customize — wait till the Apple Store sale and you may be able to score a gift card with your purchase.

If you fancy an iPad, and don’t want to have to pay a lot of money for it, then the iPad 10th generation might be for you. It’s a very simple model compared to the iPad Air or iPad Pro, but it’s also perfect for those of you that just need a basic tablet experience. Plus Amazon has knocked the price of the iPad 10th generation to $299 — which is $50 off the usual price.
The iPad 10th generation is a couple of years old at this point, but it does have some impressive specs for such a cheap tablet. It’s powered by Apple’s A14 bionic chipset, features a 10.9-inch full screen Liquid Retina Display, 64GB of storage as standard and Touch ID built into the power button. There’s also a USB-C port for easy charging, and support for the Apple Pencil (USB-C).
Apple iPad 10th generation: was $349 now $299 @ Amazon
The M4-powered Macs may be brand-spanking new, but that hasn’t stopped them getting price cuts in the run-up to Black Friday. In fact the 14-inch MacBook Pro is down $125 over at Amazon, which is a pretty good bargain if you’re happy with 512GB of SSD storage.
This price gets you the standard entry-level model, complete with 16GB of RAM. If you want more storage or memory in your MacBook, you’ll have to pay for it — and Amazon hasn’t discounted those models just yet.
During our testing time for the MacBook Pro M4 review, we were wowed by all the upgrades the new model has to offer. Not only is there incredible battery life, and strong performance from the new M4 chip, this model also manages zero glare thanks to the nano-texture display. Not to mention a sharper webcam and support for dual external monitors. It’s not got the best gaming performance, but most hardcore PC gamers won’t be playing on Mac anyway.
14-inch MacBook Pro M4: was $1,599 now $1,474 @ Amazon
I just finished reviewing Apple’s new iMac maybe a week ago, and already it’s on sale!
Admittedly, the $95 discount is not amazing, but if you’ve been considering buying an iMac this is a great time to get the latest and greatest at a discount.
It’s fast enough to last you and your family for years, too, thanks to the brand-new Apple M4 chip inside. And as you can read in my Apple iMac M4 review, this attractive all-in-one manages to fit all that power into a svelte 24-inch 4.5K display that hides a surprisingly good six-speaker sound system.
I think this is a great all-in-one for students and families because it has a good screen with wide viewing angles, great speakers and enough power for day-to-day work. So grab one now while you can get it at a discount!
iMac 24″ (M4/256GB): was $1,299 now $1,204 @ Amazon
Epic deal alert….!
The M2 MacBook Air is an epic machine for students or cash-strapped Mac fans. Right now you can get the base model with 8GB of RAM on sale for $749. It’s an epic deal, but keep in mind that it’s been $100 cheaper before. The deal I WOULD GET is this one: Amazon has the upgraded 16GB RAM model on sale for $799. However, you get an extra $49 off via the on-page digital coupon. So both models are $749 — it’s a no brainer to get the 16GB Mac. The 16GB RAM helps future-proof your Mac and makes this a superb deal. Additionally, this is the cheapest price I’ve seen for the upgraded 16GB model.
MacBook Air (M2/8GB RAM): was $999 now $749 @ Amazon
MacBook Air (M2/16GB RAM): was $999 now $749 @ Amazon
It wouldn’t be a sales event without a generous discount on Apple’s AirPods Pro 2. While this isn’t quite the lowest price we’ve seen, Walmart has knocked Apple’s premier wireless earbuds down to $189 — $60 less than the usual asking price.
AirPods Pro 2 have been around for a while, but theses wireless earbuds have had a lot of updates over the past couple of years. Recently that involved adding a hearing aid mode and updating the charging case from Lighting to USB-C. There’s also some incredibly impressive noise cancelling, spatial audio, high-fidelity sound, IP54 water resistance and up to 6 hours of listening time — or 30 hours with the case.
Apple AirPods Pro 2: was $249 now $189 @ Walmart
Apple has a lot of options when it comes to smartwatches, but if you’re looking for a low cost option then the Apple Watch SE is the one to consider. Better still, thanks to a discount at Amazon, you can pick up the 2nd generation Apple Watch SE (40mm) for $189. Or if you want the larger option, the 44m model is $50 off at $229.
The Apple Watch SE lacks a lot of the newer features you’d find on the Apple Watch series 10 or the Apple Watch Ultra 2, but there’s still a lot on offer. 18 hours of battery life, water resistance up to 50 meters, health and fitness tracking features, plus a wide range of apps that you can access on your wrist — and away from your phone.
Apple Watch SE (40mm): was $249 now $189 @ Amazon
Apple Watch SE (44mm): was $279 now $229 @ Amazon
It’s been less than a week since the Mac mini M4 went on sale, but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from dropping the price to $549. With $30 off the retail price, this isn’t the biggest discount in the world, but it is still pretty generous for a brand new piece of Apple hardware. Just remember to activate the $25 coupon to get the full saving.
As we wrote in our Apple Mac mini M4 review, the new machine is a huge leap over its predecessor. Not only is it powered by the powerful new M4 chip, it also comes with 16GB of RAM as standard, easier to reach ports and support for 3 external displays. All while maintaining a tiny design with that distinctive Apple look.
Apple Mac mini M4: was $579 now $549 @ Amazon
Now that the first M4 MacBooks have arrived, you can get some great discounts on the old models while they’re still so new they’re basically as good as the latest and greatest.
Case in point: Amazon is currently knocking $300 off the price of a 15-inch MacBook packing the M3 chip. As you can read in our Apple MacBook Air 15-inch M3 review, this is basically the sweet spot of MacBooks, giving you a bigger screen than the 14-inch Pro while maintaining the slim, lightweight design of the Air. And with the power of M3 onboard, you can count on speedy performance and long battery life.
MacBook Air 15-inch M3: was $1,299 now $999 @ Amazon
Apple Watch 10 hits new price low…
Every Black Friday, Amazon slashes $50 off the current Apple Watch. The deal usually happens the week of Thanksgiving, but this year Amazon isn’t wasting time. You can save $50 on the 42mm model or the 46mm model right now. It’s the best Apple Watch deal I’ve seen for the current flagship. Is there a chance it could drop below $349 on Black Friday proper? It might drop another $10, but I personally doubt it’ll get significantly cheaper. In other words — I’d get this deal now.
Apple Watch 10 (GPS/42mm): was $399 now $349 @ Amazon
Apple Watch 10 (GPS/46mm): was $429 now $379 @ Amazon
Here’s some buying advice from me: don’t purchase the AirPods Max just yet. Right now there’s a $120 discount on the AirPods Max Lightning model. However, these headphones went on sale for $399 back in July ($150 off) and it’s highly likely they’ll drop back to this price again on Black Friday. If you want the new AirPods Max headphones with USB-C connectivity, they’re currently sitting at full price on Amazon. Once again, I highly recommend waiting for Black Friday in case they see a discount.
If you’re always losing your stuff, you’ll want to take advantage of this AirTag deal. This gets you a pack of 4 AirTags for $69, which is the lowest price I’ve ever seen. You’re paying around $17.50 per AirTag, and you can attach them to everything from your keys to your luggage. Then, if they get lost, you can track them from your Apple devices using Find My.
AirTag (4-pack): was $99 now $69 @ Amazon
Although it’s an older model, the 9th Gen iPad is a great tablet for just about anybody. For $199, it’s a total steal. You get a bright 10.2-inch display with good performance thanks to Apple’s A13 Bionic chip. Plus, it lasted for just under 12 hours in our battery life tests.
iPad 10.2″ (Wi-Fi/64GB): was $329 now $199 @ Amazon
MacBooks may be popular, but fans of all-in-one computers should pay attention to this deal! Right now the new 2024 iMac is on sale for a $95 discount over at Amazon. Our Apple iMac M4 review praised its speedy performance thanks to Apple’s new M4 chip, and it has a gorgeous 4.5K Retina display.
iMac 24″ (M4/256GB): was $1,299 now $1,204 @ Amazon
I was super excited to see this deal on the AirPods 3. Although they have been well and truly surpassed by the new AirPods 4 (check out our AirPods 4 vs AirPods 3 face-off to see the differences,) the 3rd-Gen model are now $25 cheaper than the latest Apple buds. At just $94, you need to act fast to make sure to snag yourself a pair before they sell out.
