Folks, we’ve got ourselves a price drop. A few days ago, we told you about the Galaxy S24 Ultra and how it was available for a low — if not lowest— price of $1,092 at Amazon. Well, Amazon’s dropped the price again to $999. That’s $300 off the regular price for the 256GB version.

Yes, Samsung’s probably doing that to clear a path before the Galaxy S25 launch in 2025, but don’t let that stand in the way of a killer deal. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is already a great phone, and it will continue to be so, especially at this low price. Besides, given Samsung’s history with software updates, the Galaxy AI features rolling out with the S25 could find their way to the S24 over time.

And if Amazon’s not your thing, don’t worry — Best Buy has a discount on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, where the phone is also $300 off its regular $1,299 price.

Why it’s a great deal: It’ll make your videos extra steady.

As much as I love taking photos using any of the best camera phones around, I’m more a video person. That’s because video resonates more on social media, which is why I’m recommending the DJI Osmo Mobile 6. Sure, the DJI Pocket 3 is a compelling tool for content creators and videographers, but the Osmo Mobile 6 effectively does the same thing with your phone.

Aside from better stabilizing the videos you record with your phone, the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 can act like your own personal camera guy thanks to its active tracking feature that follows you around if you move. This is perfect when you want to showcase something in a video or if you’re conducting interviews. Best of all, you can also pull off those Inception-like rolls and pans to make your videos stand out.

Why it’s a great deal: It’s priced like a budget phone, but looks premium.

It’s the cheapest brand new Galaxy phone you can get, which is why it stands out for me. I checked out the Galaxy A35 a while ago and I was amazed by the rich features it offered at $399. With Amazon’s early Black Friday deal, it’s even cheaper to own thanks to an instant $100 discount that brings its cost down to $299.

What’s even more impressive about the Galaxy A35 is that for a budget phone, it features a premium design that dazzles. Specifically, the lilac color of the phone shimmers in a rainbow patterns with its glass meets metal trim design. If that’s not enough, I love the punchy looks of its 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display.

iPhone SE 2022 back of phone at beach

I wouldn’t normally say it’s a good time to pick up an iPhone SE, as a new model is rumored to be just months away. But since the iPhone SE is down to $179 with a prepaid Total by Verizon contract at Best Buy, it’s become a lot harder to ignore.

The body of the iPhone SE 2022 is old-looking for sure, but I know there are some of you out there who still prefer a tiny handset with a physical home button compared to the larger all-screen designs of current flagship iPhones. Plus it’s still 5G compatible, and the A15 chip remains powerful enough and new enough to run the latest iOS version and all your everyday apps. It would make an excellent first smartphone for a lucky someone, young or old, or a competent but less tempting option for anyone wanting to reduce their screen time.

If you need to quickly build up an Apple ecosystem of your own, this Verizon deal on the iPhone 16 Pro lets you get an iPad and Apple Watch for free with unlimited contracts.

Note that’s “contracts” plural. While you don’t have to buy the iPad (10th Gen), Apple Watch Series 10 or Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) like you do with the iPhone 16 Pro, Verizon’s only selling the cellular-ready versions of these gadgets, and will only part with them if you buy them with unlimited data contracts too. Obviously that’s going to be a big commitment, but it could be worthwhile if all your devices are in need of a big upgrade.

Here’s an early Black Friday phone deal that sounds like it’s not going to be around once Black Friday proper arrives. Amazon is listing the Samsung Galaxy for $299, a $100 discount off its regular price. (Best Buy is selling the Galaxy A35 at the same $299 price.) Amazon explicitly calls this a limited time deal, so if you’re thinking of picking up Samsung’s midrange phone, there’s no time like the present.

And the Galaxy A35 is definitely worth a look. We’re currently testing the phone for a review that will appear in the next week, but we have gone hands-on with the Galaxy A35, and we like what we’ve seen, particularly from the phone’s colorful display and its different camera settings. Testing the Galaxy A35 against other low-cost cameras, it delivers some pretty sweet-looking shots.

Best of all, Samsung has added Circle to Search support for this A series phone. You may not find the more extensive Galaxy AI features supported by Samsung’s pricier models, but there aren’t many sub-$400 phones that boast AI features, let alone one as useful as Circle to Search.

OnePlus 12 Black Friday deal.

Why it’s a great deal: You get a flagship phone at a mid-range price.

Flagship phones tend to cost $1,000 at the very least, but the OnePlus 12 continues the company’s legacy of undercutting the competition. For its early Black Friday deal, the OnePlus 12 can be snagged for $549 by using the code ‘ADVANCEBF‘ at checkout, down from its normal price of $799.

I’ve tested the OnePlus 12 in great detail and I’m most impressed by the performance of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which in turn helps out its power efficiency. In fact, it has one of the best phone battery life at over 17 hours. If that’s not enough, it’s also one of the fastest to charge with its obscene 80W charging speed that gets it to a full charge in 30 minutes flat.

Yes it’s pretty basic, but there are some folks out there that could live with the Moto G 5G 2023. That’s because it covers all the basics you’d want in a phone, including a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 48MP main camera that’s good enough for most situations, and 5G connectivity to get you surfing the web at fast speeds.

This early Black Friday deal from Best Buy lets you snag the Moto G 5G 2023 for $39 when it’s activated on a carrier. No trade in is necessary to get this discount. You could make it as a second phone or as a backup. Either way, it’s not often you get phones at this price.

You’ll have to pretend the blue Galaxy Z Flip 6 above is actually green, since it’s the mint version of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is currently discounted over 25% on Amazon.

Samsung’s smaller foldable excels when it comes to speed and AI features, and is pretty good for photography too. Plus the Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes with seven years of software support and a toughened Armor Aluminum frame to ensure it keeps delivering long into the future.

Google raised the price of its standard flagship Pixel again this year with the Pixel 9, but this deal from Mint Mobile, which lets you get the Pixel 9 for half price plus a $15/month unlimited data contract for 12 months, helps ease the pain.

Even if it’s more expensive by default, the Pixel 9 remains a fantastic phone. It offers top-notch photography, a long battery life, seven years of software support, and some of the smartest software and AI features of any new phone.

Galaxy S24 Ultra with S Pen and a Black Friday deal badge

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra is a king-sized phone with a king-sized price tag. But early Black Friday deals are certainly doing something about the latter.

Right now, you can get Samsung’s premium phone for $1,092. That’s $207 off the regular Galaxy S24 Ultra starting price of $1,299.

That gets you the base model of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which features a generous 256GB of storage. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which not only delivers the best performance of any Android phone but also helps the S24 Ultra last a long time on a charge — nearly 17 hours in our testing. All of that and the S24 Ultra’s superior zoom features might be enough to convince you that the phone is worthy its usually hefty asking price, but our Galaxy S24 Ultra review notes that the Galaxy AI features debuting on this phone are both impressive and practical. We’d also anticipate more AI capabilities to come via software updates, as Samsung isn’t shy about rolling out newer features to its premium phones.

Motorola razr 2023 with Black Friday deal badge.

Didn’t I say that foldable phones shouldn’t cost you an arm and leg anymore? Well, the Motorola Razr 2023 is proof that owning a foldable phone is obtainable on any budget thanks to Amazon’s insane 50% off deal.

The Razr 2023 was already discounted over other flip style foldable phones, but this added discount makes it much better. Not only does it have that cool factor of folding, but there’s actually a lot of utility here with its external display. That’s despite being a tiny strip versus the larger outer screens in other flip style phones, but it’s still usable because it can be used to take better selfies with its rear cameras.

iPhone 13

Straight Talk is offering a pretty incredible deal on the iPhone 13. Sure, it’s three generations old at this point, but you can’t pass up on a new iPhone that will cost you only $244. What makes this deal better is that you can technically get it unlocked after 60-days of service, which means you’ll be able to take it elsewhere.

Other reasons why this is an excellent Black Friday phone deal is because you’re getting a compact sized iPhone that can take exquisite photos from its dual cameras. And considering that it can run the latest software, iOS 18, it benefits from nearly all the same features you’ll find with the newer iPhone 16.

S24 Fe Deals post

If buying a well-priced Android phone is your goal this Black Friday, then you have to know about this Samsung Galaxy FE deal, which puts it below half price when you buy it through Cricket.

The entry-level S24 model does many of the same things as its more expensive siblings, like offer a stunning display, seven full years of updates and Samsung’s Galaxy AI features. It’s the first Galaxy S FE model we’ve rated just as highly as the standard models, so don’t be scared if you’re used to buying premium phones – you won’t miss out on anything much with this one.

The latest iPhone 16 models are likely at the top of many shoppers’ lists when it comes to deal hunting. And this offer from Boost Mobile and Amazon lets you pay just a single cent up front in return for the range-topping iPhone 16 Pro Max and an unlimited data plan.

Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max perhaps needs no introduction, but nonetheless, we can vouch for how good this phone is. The largest display of any iPhone ever, more capable cameras, the new Camera Control for easier photography, excellent battery life and the growing collection of Apple Intelligence features mean you’ll want for basically nothing. Unless you’re an Android fan, of course.
