Date a Live, originally a light novel series written by Koshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako, was serialized by Fujimi Shobo from 2012 to 2020, spanning a total of 22 volumes. The franchise’s journey through animation began with the first TV adaptation by AIC Plus+ in the spring of 2013, followed by a second season by Production IMS in 2014. The reins were then handed over to J.C. Staff for the third season aired in early 2019, leading up to the fourth season by GEEKTOYS in mid-2022.
Yen Press is responsible for publishing the Date a Live light novel series in English, making it accessible to a wider audience.
