Haikyu!! Movie’s “Orange” Theme Song Soars in New Anime Music Video!

The Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle movie has unveiled an anime music video for its captivating theme song Orange by SPYAIR, igniting fan excitement with its intense and emotionally charged showcase of the match between underdogs Karasuno and Nekoma. The video, adorned with Japanese subtitles featuring the lyrics, captures the essence of the rivalry and the spirit of volleyball encapsulated in the film.

Fans are encouraged to watch the Haikyu!! Orange music video, which, while a feast for the eyes, may contain spoilers for those yet to experience the film. The video is hosted on YouTube, featuring a platform that blends the music seamlessly with pivotal scenes from the movie, illustrating the highs and lows of the much-anticipated “Dumpster Battle.”

This release follows the film’s remarkable success in Japan, where Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle has proudly become the 15th anime film to gross over 10 billion yen at the box office. Official sources shared this achievement on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that within just 75 days of its release up to April 30, the movie attracted more than 699 million viewers. Such milestones highlight the enduring popularity of the Haikyu!! franchise and its ability to draw audiences across generations.

Furthermore, the film is set to broaden its reach, with openings scheduled across Southeast Asia in May 2024, including countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines. For its international release, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have taken the helm, planning showings from May to June. Under the direction of Susumu Mitsunaka and animated by Production I.G., the movie promises to deliver the high-quality storytelling and animation fans have come to expect from the franchise.

The storyline continues to follow Shoyo Hinata’s journey in Karasuno High’s volleyball club, inspired by his idol, the “Little Giant.” Despite initial friction, Hinata’s partnership with his former rival, Tobio Kageyama, blossoms into a strategic advantage.
