API infrastructure platform supplier Kong has up to date its Kong Konnect API platform with the Konnect Service Catalog, a de facto system of document that allows higher visibility and stronger administration of all APIs in an organization’s IT infrastructure, the corporate stated.
The replace was introduced September 11. Kong Konnect is positioned as an enterprise-grade unified platform for securely constructing and working API purposes. It covers the API life cycle from improvement to safety, governance, and value effectivity.
Featured within the replace is the Konnect Service Catalog, which integrates with techniques corresponding to API gateways, service meshes, and Kubernetes to offer a “single supply of reality” for all APIs within the infrastructure, enhanced visibility and management over shadow APIs, and permit organizations to proactively mitigate vulnerabilities by eliminating undiscovered and unused APIs, Kong stated.
