Korea Blockchain Week, the premier Web3 event in Asia, recently took place in Seoul, South Korea. The week-long industry event, organized by Web3 ecosystem accelerator FactBlock and co-hosted by Korea’s leading Web3 VC fund, Hashed, brought together top investors, builders, founders, media, and brands to explore the latest advancements in Web3 technology.

The event featured three main events: Impact, nft now’s The Gateway: Korea digital gallery, and the nft and media art sound festival Micro Seoul. Impact, the keystone conference, gathered over 240 speakers, including notable figures like Vitalik Buterin, the Co-founder of Ethereum, Jeremy Allaire, the CEO and Co-founder of Circle, and Mike Belshe, the Co-founder and CEO of BitGo.

The Gateway: Korea, held in partnership with nft now and FACTBLOCK, showcased activations by industry giants like Christie’s, Samsung, adidas, and Beatport, as well as prominent artists and influencers in the Web3 space. The event aimed to spotlight Seoul as a cultural capital of Asia and a hub of technical innovation.

South Korea is known for its dynamic and expanding crypto market, ranking second globally in the adoption of crypto and blockchain technology. KBW has played a significant role in fostering collaboration between Korean and global blockchain communities and positioning Seoul as an exciting market for Web3 development and adoption.
