Line Next launches Sweet Monster Guardians Web3 game on Game Dosi

Line Next, a division of a major messaging firm in Asia, has announced the release of its second Web3 game, Sweet Monster Guardians. The game incorporates non-fungible tokens (NFTs) into gameplay and is based on the popular South Korean character brand, Sweet Monster.

Sweet Monster Guardians is a web-based strategic defense game that can be played on PCs and mobile devices without the need for a separate client download. In the game, players take on the role of Sweet Monsters, messengers of happiness, who must protect their town from unforeseen incidents. They can deploy character cards, merge identical cards to enhance skills, and engage in real-time battles with other players through multiplayer mode.

To celebrate the game’s launch, Line Next is rewarding existing Sweet Monster NFT holders with in-game items. Players can link their purchased NFTs to their in-game profiles, gaining additional power. NFTs specific to Sweet Monster Guardians will also be available for purchase on the Game Dosi platform starting on October 6.

Line Next is actively expanding in the Web3 gaming space and plans to launch several games in the near future. The company aims to provide a game-centered platform through Game Dosi, allowing users to play Web3 games while fostering a community where users can freely own and trade digital goods.

Line Next is divided into two companies, with Line Next Corporation in South Korea focusing on global NFT platform strategy and planning, and Line Next Inc. in the United States working on developing and operating an NFT platform business.

With the release of Sweet Monster Guardians, Line Next aims to further develop the NFT ecosystem and provide players with an engaging gaming experience. By combining NFTs with popular character brands, Line Next is bringing a unique twist to the gaming industry and attracting players from around the world.
