The 6N1P-EV is coming more popular as more amplifier brands are using them for their rich tone with high gain, comparable to the 6DJ8, 6922 or 6AQ8. While they aren’t a drop-in replacement for most circuits, they will work in some 6DJ8 circuits but check with your manufacturer first. These have silver shields which makes them highly sought after.
