As a father of two girls, I made a conscious choice to be around them as much as possible. During baby, toddler and primary school years…I kissed my girls goodnight almost every night!

I loved this ritual over the years and still do. Now we also talk about our ‘three favourite things of the day’. A great way to end the day on a positive note.

A little kiss goodnight is not without end My oldest daughter is now in secondary school and comes to kiss me goodnight, whilst I’m in the living room. At one point in time us parents have to start ‘stealing’ kisses and take what can we get.
