There are hazards for the workers providing delivery of services but as compared to manufacturing industry it is very negligible.Even in today’s situation, the world is facing COVID 19 problem, the problem of health workers are a matter of concern but this is an exceptional case and happens once in a century.Safety is defined as the individual /collective efforts taken to cope up with the hazardous situations.Occupational health and safety management system is system which ensures safety of workers during working There are three types of safety namely; human safety, material safety and equipment safety. We have to consider safety of all three factors during working, priority being given to the safety of human.We have to take precautions to prevent likelihood of occurrence of hazards to any of the three elements mentioned above and if the entire hazard exists, take immediate action to reduce its negative impact on human. The occupational, health and safety standard gives guidelines to establish the system in the organizations, by implementing which, one can ensure safety of workers in their organizations.The safety of humans (workers) can be ensured by providing safe and suitable working conditions, providing personal protective equipments (PPEs), imparting training to the workers and other interested parties like suppliers, customers, neighbourers etc.,seeking participation of workers and workers representatives in the this drive, identifying opportunities to avoid risks, periodical health check up of employees, ensuring organization complies with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, establishing objectives and key performance indicators for every levels in the organizations and continually monitoring and improving the objectives.We have to consider the safety of machines /equipment, material, because any damage to material/machine can result in hazardous conditions to the workers.
