Every state in all of the United States has a State Park. These parks can be a wonderful home base for your next RV adventure.
But what are the rules of state parks? What state parks are in my destination state? How much do they cost? Are there special instructions for entry?
My book, Bob’s RV Camping Directory for State Parks, will show you the very BEST state parks in each state for RV camping. I have done the research for you. Many, if not nearly all of these parks, I have personally visited and have my stamp of approval.
I have been a fan of RV camping for the past two decades. All I do is travel around in my campervan, sampling the best destinations our beautiful country has to offer. America is a rich and one of the most diverse countries in the world. It is probably the only country that offers you the chance to see the world from a single focal point.
With all its beauty, America is also one of the most expensive countries to live in the world. The cost of accommodation can break your bank account in a day. This makes it difficult for most people to travel around and enjoy the beauty that the country has to offer. Staying in a hotel room for a week can easily wipe out most average American’s salaries. This calls for innovation and creativity.
In the past decade, more people have realized that traveling across the country in RVs and motorhomes is a convenient way of seeing the county while cutting on accommodation costs. Traveling in RVs is more adventurous than flying or traveling on a train. With an RV, you have the freedom to stop anywhere you feel attracted to and enjoy the beauty that the countryside has to offer. You can spend the night in any town and kick off the journey the following day at your convenience.
In my book, I will show you:

Common Terms Used in RV Camping
Types of RV Campers and Their Advantages
State Parks Open to RV Camping with Their Guidelines (in all 50 states)

In each state park listing, I will give you a description, operating hours, contact information, price, amenities, nearby attractions, and key factors to consider when choosing to stay at that park.

How to Start and Enjoy Living the RV Life on a Tight Budget
This book gave me more HONEST pros and cons than any other book or website I have read or visited!Thank you so much for all this “fantastic” information. This will help make my travels less stressful and more confident.Sincerely – Linda A. Stevenson
I work full-time and still have more than 15-years before I can even think about retiring. BUT…It has been my dream for quite some time to retire and tour this beautiful country of ours with my wife. In this book the author, Robert Nichols, shares his experiences on fulfilling my dream. He discusses subjects from downsizing your home-life to traveling on a budget and everything in between. This book is well written and covers subjects that I had not even considered about the RV life! It is a good, easy read! Hopefully in the upcoming years, Mr. Nichols and I will be able to share the roadway in our respective RVs! – Chris Wood
