From the Author
When I finished my first day of training to be a Sales Manager for a fitness company, I was exhausted, nervous, unsure, and uncertain. I wondered why in the world I left a stable job in the manufacturing realm where I was on the fast track for multiple promotions and had already been given two in under 2 years. Why would I just throw that away to move to new city and uproot to start a new life without any clear directive in mind. And to do so while taking a huge pay cut just so I could be in the field I wanted to be in?
I’ll be real with you all. I never in my life thought that I would be in sales, let alone writing a book on it. That leap of faith, as some would call it, was a huge risk. And it definitely took its toll on me for some time. But fast forward 8+ years and here we are. I’m writing a book on a topic I am EXTREMELY passionate about helping others in. Not because I want to see people become better at sales… but, because I want to make people realize that being an amazing sales person can change lives in an extremely positive way with every person you meet. It can be done by ANYONE with a drive to better themselves and to make the world a better place for others. It can change how you view the world if you look at it through a slightly different lens. And most of all, I want introverts that don’t think they have what it takes, and people that think they can’t be successful at something outside of their comfort zone… to take that silly notion of an idea and throw it so hard out the window that they lose track of where it lands.
This book, and the consulting platform “Subtle Art of Sales” I’m launching with it, was made to create an avenue of hope and knowledge that catapults inspired individuals to the next level of their dreams. It’s also made for those that are stagnant and not finding growth if they are already in sales. I guarantee that you’ll not only learn something from reading this book, but you’ll find it just a tad bit entertaining during the process. After all, what’s the point in life and in reading if you can’t enjoy it and get some entertainment out of it in the process?
Dive in – Don’t be afraid to take that leap of faith. I did – and it changed my life forever. Now, I want to pay it forward and do the same for YOU.
