The Dynalon 143084-0000 transparent acrylic desiccator cabinet with lock has two shelves, and can be used for dry, dust-free storage at temperatures up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Desiccator cabinet is suitable for use in incubators, freezers, refrigerators, or at room temperature. The 10” by 7” by 8.5” cabinet has two perforated, sliding sample shelves over a third shelf, for holding a desiccant such as silica gel or activated charcoal. The airtight door needs no lubrication, and the lock on the door helps prevent unauthorized exposure of the sample during drying and storage.
Desiccators are sealable enclosures that contain drying agents, or desiccants, placed under a removable platform, to protect the contents from atmospheric moisture.
