Robert Hodge Jr., MD, CPE, FACPE, is a clinical professor in the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine’s Department of Health Management and Informatics. He is also visiting scholar for the Missouri Integrated Advanced Information Management System, established to develop user-centered information system to support improved decision making and innovative educational and research programs for the university and its constituents. Dr. Hodge has served on the ACPE Board of Directors and was president in 1989-90.

Richard C. Howe, PhD, is vice president of Superior Consulting Company. His 30-year career in the health care industry includes major contributions to areas such as executive leadership of information services organizations, information technology, health care consulting, data management, and academia. Dr. Howe is a board member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and has served as its president.
