Set the passive humidifier.
There is a round passive humidifier in the humidor. Submerge the humidifier in distilled water for 10 minutes to let the foam inside to absorb enough water. Remove it from water and dry the outside with a dry cloth. Make sure no excess water escaped from the humidifier. Secure the humidifier in the hole on the top of humidor with the magic tapes

Season the humidor.
Place a bowl or container of distilled water inside the humidor. Keep the humidor closed for approx. 24 hours. If a large portion of the water has evaporated with the time passed, re-fill the bowl a second time and leave it inside the cigar humidor for another 24 hours. Once the water stops evaporating, the humidor is ready for your cigars storage.
