Fully Automatic 48V, 3A battery charger/maintainer for 48V systems with batteries up to 40 AH capacity. (Note that this charger is NOT designed for recharging a set of golf cart batteries, which are much higher capacity.) This unit will maintain a set of fully-charged batteries during extended periods of non-use, when batteries would otherwise self-discharge and suffer capacity loss or complete failure. This small, lightweight unit may be permanently mounted on the equipment/vehicle for convenience, guaranteeing that your batteries will be charged and healthy when you need them. This intelligent charger follows the battery impedance to end of charge cycle for all battery types. It is FULLY AUTOMATIC. Red LED indicates AC power on, yellow LED indicates battery is charging, green LED indicates float mode. Aluminum case. Flanges with holes allow for ease of on-board mounting. DC Cordset: 3 ft long with 5/16″ ring terminals. Current Limiting. Full load at 2.1 volts per cell continuous – 100% duty cycle.
