About the Author: Otis Terell Latson is a poet and Author for Children’s books. His main inspiration is to show the youth their true potential, lead through love and guide the world’s future leaders. During his 10 years in the United States Air Force as a Medical Evacuation Health Care Provider, he spent many tours in Afghanistan bringing his brothers in arms back home safely to their loved ones. The concept of love and family grew brighter as he experienced the happiness families gained with each reunited encounter. After serving in the military, he honored his dream of becoming an Operating Room Nurse to assist others in need of healing hands. He gained an amazing perspective as a newly dad that ignited his desire to be a role model through his actions, words and love.
