(Description included in the Journal)I often wonder why we are always there for others with positivity and support yet we struggle with doing the same for ourselves.
When life events happen, whether it be good or bad, big or small, write them in this journal.
Then, in a few hours or when you are in a happy and healthy state of mind, come back to read what you wrote but read it as if it were a letter from a loved one telling you this particular event happened in their life.
Respond to them in another journal entry with positivity.
If it was a good event, express your excitement for them. Acknowledge the good things going on. Are you proud of them? Let them know!
If it was a bad event be supportive, kind, and loving. Give them encouragement and positive advice. Be the shoulder to lean on expressed with supportive words.
When you are done responding to your “loved one”, read what you wrote but be mindful that you are talking to yourself. Absorb all the love and positive encouragement you gave to yourself.
