Made from chopped fermented shrimp meat, soybeans and fish juice, this condiment can be added to rice, noodle, vegetable and even fish dishes. Although this paste has a rather strong smell that offers notes of fermented food that oscillates between bitter and salty it is nonetheless very tasty and aromatic.
This can be added to fried rice, noodles, stir-fried vegetables and seafood dishes to add a rich seafood flavor.
