“Perfect Knowledge of (Project Management)”
is intended for the best way to Project Planning and Review work. Project management is all about change. Think about the scope of changes, personnel changes, and budget changes, that are all part of the job. The best project managers find a way to stay on top of change, not just within individual projects, but across the span of a career. With that in mind, we put out a call asking veteran project managers for their thoughts on how project management has changed over the past several decades. Project management methodology began to take form with the advent of the “Critical Path Method” (CPM), and the “Program Evaluation and Review Technique” (PERT). The “Critical Path Method” (CPM) was developed by Dupont, CPM is a technique used to predict project duration by analysing which sequence of activities has the least amount of scheduling flexibility. It was designed to address the complex process of shutting down chemical plants for maintenance, and maintenance. The PERT is a method for analysing the tasks involved in completing a project, especially the time needed to complete each task and identifying the minimum time needed to complete the total project. Project management was largely based on Waterfall techniques. This was good enough to land men on the moon and bring them home safely.

It is used and mandated the following of this procedure in future projects of this scope and size. WBS is an exhaustive, hierarchical tree structure of deliverables and tasks that need to be performed to complete a project. The WBS remains one of the most common and useful project management tools. The “International Project Management Association” (IPMA) Founded in 1965. Its vision is to promote project management and to lead the development of the profession. “Project Management Institute” (PMI) was launched to promote the Project Management Profession. The PMI has become best known as ‘A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)’ considered one of the essential tools in the project management profession today. The PMI offers two levels of project management certification, “Certified Associate in Project Management” (CAPM) and “Project Management Professional” (PMP). PROMPTII Method Created in 1975 to set down guidelines for the stage flow of a computer project. The “Mythical Man-Month” (MMM) central theme is that adding manpower by extra-human communications needed to add another member. It naturally depends on the experience and sophistication of the human programmers involved and the quality of available documentation. TOC is an overall management philosophy that is geared to help organisations continually achieve their goal. The TOC process seeks to identify the constraint and restructure the rest of the organisation around it by using Five Focusing Steps. The methods and algorithms from TOC went on to form the basis of “Critical Chain Project Management” (CCPM). Scrum is a Project Management Style developed in 1986. Scrum is an agile software development model based on multiple small teams working in an intensive and interdependent manner. Although Scrum is intended for the management of software development projects, it can be used to run software maintenance teams, or as a general project and programme management approach. A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) was an attempt to document and standardise accepted project management information and practices. The guide is one of the essential tools in the project management profession today and has become the global standard for the industry. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) recognises PMBOK as a standard in 1998,
