By giving a voice to pain and anguish, Madlyn’s poems also provide hope and encouragement that there is a better tomorrow. It is her wish that the poems will help others who have suffered or are suffering from abuse, betrayal, bullying, trauma, and depression to realize they are not alone, and that recovery is possible. The author is donating part of the proceeds from the online sales of her book to Paws for Purple Hearts, an organization whose mission aligns with her purpose for publishing her poetry – healing hearts and minds.
