QUINTSCHER’S TRAINING MANUAL FOR MAGICIANS: BOOK 1 IN THE FRANZ BARDON SERIES

This book is a compilation based mainly on the so-called Secret book of the Builders of which the main contributor was Wilhelm Quintscher under the name Master Rah Ohmir. For the students of Franz Bardon, the publication of this translation will be of great importance and I will explain why. It is said that through the negligence of Wilhelm Quintscher, one of Bardon’s disciples (who had not destroyed their correspondence as Bardon had ordered) the Nazis arrested and imprisoned both Quintscher and Bardon in late 1941 or early 1942. While they were being whipped, Quintscher lost his control and uttered a Qabalistic formula to immobilize the torturers. However, the effects of the formula were eventually cancelled and the Quintscher was shot in revenge. To conclude this short introduction, there has been a very close relationship between Bardon and Quintscher. They met when Bardon was 18 years old and they seemed to have been together to the death of Quintscher. The book covers interesting aspects that Bardon just mentions in passing. This relates to topics like the Magic Mirror and the Tepaphone (a magical instrument used to influence those around you.In his books, Bardon also admit that he had taken much of the material for his training manual for students as published in his well known book “Initiation into the Hermetics” from other writers. Once you have read this book, you will be able to identify the close connections between Bardon and Quintscher.
