This Sandvik Coromant T-Max Q-Cut 151.2 grooving insert is carbide H13A grade and has one cutting edge, a non-handed neutral cutting angle, and a 4G chipbreaker for internal or external grooving operations on nonferrous materials such as aluminum at low feeds. H13A grade is uncoated carbide that provides toughness for shock resistance without limiting hardness for wear resistance in difficult-to-average machining conditions.
The insert has a 4G chipbreaker with a sharp edge and low cutting force for precision internal and external grooving at low feed rates. This single-edged, non-handed insert has a neutral cutting angle and a groove for clamping. Tolerance of the cutting width of the insert is + or – 0.0008″.
