About the Author
Jacqueline Norwood-Hall is a married mother of seven children, who currently resides just outside of Atlanta Georgia. Understanding the need for more diversity and inclusion in books, she set out to use her gift of writing to touch upon sensitive, yet relevant subject matter that crosses color lines and addresses socioeconomic issues that many children face, in particular children of color. Her books consist of, Esther Bean, the Queen of Self-Esteem, and its prequel, Jester Mean Comes Clean, which are both successful in addressing childhood bullying from the scope of both lenses: the bully and the bullied. Savannah Pearl, Chocolate Girl, further adds to its foundation by teaching the power of self-love and inclusion of other races. Jacqueline’s hope and company’s mission is Building Self-Esteem, one Book at a Time. When she is not writing, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family and friends vacationing.
