This collection of dub reimaginings of the Grammy-nominated album, “The Final Battle,” came by gathering the finest dub artists of our time. Its significant that both featured bands herein, Sly & Robbie and Roots Radics, arose from the Aggrovators/Revolutionaries at Channel One in the late `70s. In this “Dub Battle” we find pioneers King Tubby, Bunny Lee and Lee “Scratch” Perry at their best, mixing the two most important groups of their time, with four generations of dub engineers.
