The ABC’s of Malayalees

Born and raised in America with strong connections to their Indian roots, author Daina Parackel and her husband, Justin, always knew they wanted to pass on the language of Malayalam to their children. As they were expecting, they began this idea of a book that does just that.

From B is for bharatanatyam to K is for kudumbam and beyond, this one of a kind American/South Indian alphabet book teaches the language of Malayalam in English. Each page celebrates the mouth watering foods of Kerala, colorful Malayalee culture, and vibrant beauty of the country of India.
