The All Father Paradox is Ian Stuart Sharpe’s first book, and it’s a doozy. He somehow manages to take his love of all things Norse and fluidly turn it into a story that combines historical fiction, skaldic poetry, and science fiction. Just as impressive is his ability to write in different styles without harming the story he is weaving. I haven’t read a lot of fiction in the past few years, and this was a treat.

I thoroughly enjoyed 
The All-Father Paradox
. It is a complex tale crossing multiple timelines and multiple worlds, weaving together disciplines as diverse as medieval British history, Greek Orthodox theology, arboreal evolution, and Norse poetry. Highly recommended to followers of any of the Northern Traditions, as well as lovers of science fiction and history. And I, for one, can’t wait to see what comes in the next book.
