The Way of the Cross: Praying the Psalms with Jesus
₱643.00
Product Description
Experience the way of the cross as you never have before. Rather than meditating about Christ’s journey to the cross, pray with him.
Jesus, as an observant Jewish man, would have prayed the Psalms throughout the day, and drawn strength and peace from them.
In The Way of the Cross: Praying the Psalms with Jesus, Fr. Toups invites us to step closer to Christ and pray beside him, drawing strength from Scripture during his last moments before the crucifixion.
Each station features:
A short reading from Scripture
A brief meditation
A Psalm to pray with Christ
Review
My soul was moved I’d recently taken the Psalms as a Bible study and it had greater appreciation for the Psalms spoken by Jesus during the passion. And during these times of covid-19 it was even more moving.
And you assembled it before you even knew how important it would be, especially a good Friday sitting at home this year. We are learning humbleness. Thank you –Meg P.
Powerful meditation Father Toups’ refections are very rich and powerful. Using the Psalms as meditation was so helping in praying the way of the Cross. I used the audio along with the booklet to really enhance this prayer experience. Thank you. –Debra P.

It is beautifully written, the pictures, everything about it, make for a meaningful way if the cross. I highly recommend this booklet for Lent or following the stations at any time of the year. –Amy H.
