About the Author

Cass Kim, M.A. CCC-SLP earned her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University. She is currently a full time author, editor, and sees a select few clients weekly through Ohana Therapy Clinic, a private practice. Combining her need for therapy resources with her love of writing, Cass has created a series of books that could be wonderful in schools, in therapy, and especially at home with parents that want the very best for their kids.

Kawena VK grew up in Hawaii with a great fascination for art and nature. She learned through a traditional atelier at the Windward Community College where she was inspired, by her college instructor, to pursue art.
