About the Author

Jeffrey Mason was raised in the small town of Grapeland, Texas, and served as a Hospital Corpsman with the United States Navy and Marine Corps. After his military service, he studied at Chabot Community College and at California State University, Sacramento. 

Today he lives in Sacramento, with his wife, their cats, and two adult children.

His working life consisted of 12 years in healthcare, assisting in surgeries and working in labor wards, delivering new babies, and caring for their mothers. At the age of 30 he started working with businesses and individuals and after ‘retiring’ began writing books.

To date, Jeffrey has written 18 books, mostly centered around family and the learning and sharing of family histories. This inspired him to create Hear Your Story Books, which allows anyone to reminisce and share the stories from their lives, while also creating a cherished memory that can be shared for generations.

For every book sold, Hear Your Story Books donates twenty-five cents to non-profit organizations. To date, these contributions have benefitted are Alzheimer’s research and care, domestic violence prevention, and non-profits that help kids and teens manage depression and social anxiety.
