From the Author
Shane Read has tried over 100 trials to verdict. His textbooks have been adopted for use in law schools throughout the country. Two of his textbooks won the Association of Continuing Legal Education’s top honor for Professional Excellence. He is the only author to win this prestigious award twice. He is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Texas School of Law. In 1989, he began his career at Akin Gump, and since 1992Â he has worked on civil and criminal cases as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C. and Dallas, Texas. He is an adjunct professor in Trial Advocacy at S.M.U. School of Law and trains lawyers throughout the USA.
