About the Author
BROOKE KHAN spent more than a decade teaching history, language arts, and reading. She left the classroom to start her own business, Literacy in Focus LLC, where she creates and publishes engaging materials for teachers and students all over the world. Her first book, Home of the Brave: 15 Immigrants Who Shaped US History, was published in 2019.
KELLY CANBY is an award-winning, internationally published illustrator and author.
