Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Ultra India launch nears as BIS listing surfaces

Samsung Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra will launch soon in India. The upcoming flagship phones have been listed on India’s BIS database. The lineup is expected to be introduced early next year, with vanilla S25 will also be unveiled.

91mobiles spotted the presence of the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra on the BIS database, confirming the India launch. However, the listing reveals nothing other than the model numbers, which isn’t a sensational input.

  • SM-S936B – Galaxy S25+
  • SM-S938B – Galaxy S25 Ultra

Notably, the S25 (standard model) has not been listed on BIS. The company is expected to bring three models; S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, globally. We expect the S25 will also be listed on the certification to ensure a seamless debut.

Samsung has allegedly made fruitful design refinements across the lineup. The Galaxy S25 Ultra would feature slightly rounded corners, while all three models could have flat frames, as part of enhancing the handling experience.

The S25 series is expected to use Snapdragon 8 Elite globally. Qualcomm’s new processor brings huge performance improvements over previous generations. It’s fabricated using a 3nm process, which significantly enhances efficiency.

As far as the pricing is concerned, inputs contain mixed assumptions. Some reports say Samsung may not hike prices following Apple. Meanwhile, it’s also rumored that the S25 Ultra maybe $110 costlier than the S24 Ultra.

A Korean media outlet reported that the Galaxy Unpacked may take place on January 22 in the US. We’ve also heard that the pre-reservation may start in early January. The lineup could be released globally in early February next year.
